Let’s start today with a peak inside my Trader Joe’s shopping cart…
I’m always angry when Trader Joe’s is out of organic mini cucumbers. The minis are the best and so easy to cut up one at a time when I want a cucumber in my salad.
Not pictured (because I forgot) but has anyone else tried the chocolate fudge oat bars from the freezer section at Trader Joe’s? They are really good!
Moving on to recent salads…
It’s been a while since I last shared a picture of my weekly salad from Chopt. I actually didn’t have Chopt for a couple of weeks which is rare.
The salads that I make at home look boring but they are delicious.
This is my veggie burger salad.
Ingredients:
- Romaine
- Cucumber
- Tomato
- Onion
- Chickpeas
- Avocado
- Dr. Praeger’s Veggie Burger
- Pickles
- Whole Foods 365 Light Ranch Dressing
And this is my greek salad.
Ingredients:
- Romaine
- Cucumber
- Tomato
- Onion
- Chickpeas
- Feta Cheese
- Avocado
- Trader Joe’s 3-Layer Hummus
- Trader Joe’s Balsamic Dressing
I had this delicious bialy with vegetable cream cheese and tomato after my run at the beach on Saturday. I’m still in a vegetable cream cheese phase but I feel it wearing off which is great – that’s the whole point. I eat what I crave until I don’t crave it anymore.
Cake in a Cup…
When I saw that Uncle Guiseppe’s had chocolate cake in a cup, I knew I had to get it.
This cake cup was filled with perfect layers of chocolate fudge frosting and cake in just the right ratio.
