Sex and the City Stuff + Magnolia Bakery + Fashion Faves

Are we going to talk about the Sex And The City 2 series, And Just Like That? I don’t want to spoil anything but if you have already watched the first episode or heard the “big” details, read this article for some clarity and to feel better about the shocking start to the series.

I watched the third episode last night and definitely liked it better than the first two episodes.

Side note: I still want this Sex and the City-inspired Stoney Clover patch. It’s on my list for this winter to get downtown to the Stoney Clover store to have it sewn onto my mini pouch.

Sticking with the Sex and the City theme, I had a delicious cupcake from Magnolia Bakery on Wednesday. I told my coworkers (who I swear are more like friends that it’s weird to say coworkers) that we needed to take a walk over to Magnolia for an afternoon treat.

I’m the type to browse all of the desserts on display and always end up with the choice  — a chocolate cupcake. I’m not usually a buttercream fan but oh my, Magnolia gets it right.

Some Fashion Favorites real quick:

I don’t need another sweater but not sure I can resist this cashmere one with embellished stars.

Um, is this sequin mini skirt only for the holiday season? Because I would wear it year-round.

I haven’t mentioned that I can’t find one of my running mittens. I’m pretending it’s not an issue and that it will turn up but I’m starting to get concerned. I’m very close to ordering the Run For It All Hooded Gloves from lululemon.

I got this Kate Spade pajama set for Hanukkah which is really pretty (and warm!) but think I will grab this PJ Salvage set for myself too.
