Nordstrom Sales Don’t Impress Me (plus Tarte & Alo Yoga Favorites)

Every time a Nordstrom sale rolls around, I say the same thing – I’m really not impressed. And, the craziness that ensues from fashion bloggers rushing to share the OMG best deals from the Nordstrom sale always leaves me wondering if they truly like the items they share or if they do it for the money they make if you shop their link.

I’ll leave you to decide. 🙂

From my side of things, the Nordstrom beauty deals can be of interest…and that’s about it.

I get very excited about a MAC Lip Primer, Lipstick & Lipglass Lip Gloss Set.

It’s a good deal when Charlotte Tilbury offers a Full-Size Collagen Lip Bath Lip Gloss with Pillow Talk Set.

I love Briogeo products so this Briogeo Healthy Hair Wonders Set is worth the hype.

Olaplex is my go-to haircare – the Olaplex Bond Maintenance Hair Care Set isn’t cheap but the bottles are larger than usual.

I’ve been waiting to decide to try Necessaire body products so the Full-Size Necessaire Body Wash & Lotion Set is my time.

In other Friday Favorites news, I’m very excited to report that the Tarte Power Bar Amazonian Clay Eye Shadow Palette is PERFECT for my sensitive eyes.

Not only are the colors so pretty and versatile, but the shadows also go on well AND do not irritate my eyes. While technically not labeled as “clean”, they are free from parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, sulfates SLS & SLES, and triclosan.

If you look close enough, the Tarte palette is incredibly similar to my beloved (yet irritating to my eyes) Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Palettes. I LOVE Charlotte Tilbury’s eye shadow but my eyes do not always feel the same way.

Tarte eye shadow is also much cheaper, which is always a plus.

One last favorite to discuss from this week…Alo Yoga!

Did you see the Mesh Flirty Skirt?! With the Lavish Bra?!

This Open Back Hoodie is a must, I think in the white. I like the Wellness Bra too and want a pair of socks.

Alo breaks down their clothing by activity so you know which items and materials work for which type of workout. Here’s the  Run section in case you are curious.
