It seems that I ran a little more than usual in the last seven days or so but I’m only noticing as I put together this workout recap post.
It’s hard to even remember that Memorial Day was only Monday of last week. That run doesn’t even feel like it should be part of my workout recap for some reason. It feels so long ago and I don’t even remember it!
As far as the rest of the week, none of my runs were too challenging so each morning that I woke up feeling like a summery run, I went with it.
Oh, and Saturday was my birthday (!!) and I always enjoy a good run on my birthday.
Monday – 5 Miles
It finally stopped raining!
Tuesday – 25 Min Cardio Warm-up + Full Body Flow/ 30 Walk
Wednesday – 5 Miles
Thursday – 35 Min Yoga Sculpt/16 Min Abs (with ball)
A rainy morning gave me a chance to do a yoga sculpt workout. I love the higher-intensity yoga workouts so very much.
Friday – 30 Min Run/5 Min Arms (1 lb weights)
I didn’t have a ton of time this morning so squeezing in a 30-minute run plus a quick five-minute arms workout (from Melissa Wood Health) was perfect. Don’t ever knock what you can do in a short amount of time, especially five minutes of arms. Keeping your arms fully engaged and working the entire five minutes is actually quite hard to do! It burns in such a good way.
Saturday – 6 Miles
It was sunny, hot, and even humid but I was so happy to run under these conditions to start off my birthday!
Sunday – 5 Miles
I totally didn’t plan on running five miles, I kinda figured I would run three but continuing beyond the plan is usually what happens.
