I’m realizing as I write this workout recap post that Pure Barre was a large part of my week. Pure Barre GO is still an issue in that they have yet to organize the menu (I know it shouldn’t take this long which leads me to believe no one is working on it) but they did add a “feedback” button within the platform so trust me, I gave an opinion. Again.
Regardless, I do still enjoy Pure Barre workouts and feel the non-impact isometric exercises are very much needed so I’m continuing to ride out the Pure Barre On Demand switch to Pure Barre GO unless it annoys me beyond the ability to use the platform.
It’s really just minor problems with the platform at this point like the workouts are not in any order within the menu, they don’t display completely full screen as they used to, and I can’t see how many minutes into a workout I am, or how many I have left to go. It used to be that you could hover on the screen to see the workout time/speed up/go back. I don’t think that’s there anymore but I did let them know in my feedback.
Quick note: I didn’t pay close attention to the time I spent walking most mornings of the week. Each walk likely ranged anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes.
Monday – 10 Min Pure Barre (seat & abs)/Walk
Tuesday – 3 Miles
Wednesday – 30 Min Pure Barre/Walk
I actually thought that I clicked on a 45 minute Pure Barre workout but it ended at 30 minutes. I was a little surprised when I was done so fast.
Thursday – 3 Miles/20 Min Pure Barre
Friday – 3 Miles
Yesterday’s 20 minute Pure Barre workout left me a little sore! I’m always happy when I get sore from Pure Barre because to me, it means I’m working a muscle that hasn’t been challenged enough in a while.
Saturday – 3 Mile Run/3 Mile Walk
I ended up on the phone after my run which led me to be outside for a 3-mile walk after running 3 miles.
Sunday – 45 Min Pure Barre/Walk
The weather is looking nice for this week with low humidity for the next few days. I honestly haven’t felt too affected by the humidity just yet but I’m looking forward to running maybe a little more this week and certainly appreciate the weather conditions before things become the triple H of hazy, hot, and humid a majority of the time. Have a great week!
