I’m so very happy that outdoor dining and retail stores are now open in my area. Even beyond missing dining out, I was really reaching my limit on not being able to go shopping for clothes (and shoes, and makeup!) in person.
I hope to hit some stores this weekend although, over the last two weeks, I did place some online orders…because I was having my moments of just needing to buy something other than groceries.
First, I can’t find the link now for the awesome straw visor with the hot pink stripes that I bought from Nordstrom but I found a few other visors to share with you at really reasonable prices.
Straw (or sometimes called woven) accessories can be really pricey so finding the visors at a good price was a major win in my eyes. I really don’t like to overpay for a seasonal item that I don’t use every day. The above straw visor was only ten dollars (!!) so I made sure that the visors I found to share today were as close to that price as possible.
Oh, I also ordered this small woven pouch for my birthday too. I hope it arrives today! I figure I will use the pouch in my larger totes to organize my things. 🙂
On the topic of straw and woven for this season, I also like this woven tote from the Gap. What a great price.
During one of my, I NEED TO SHOP phases last week, I ordered a few things from Ulta including this Tarte Quickie Double-Ended Concealer Brush and this pack of Blush Satin Scrunchies. I love the satin scrunchies. I wear one to sleep and it doesn’t crease my hair at all. I’m also starting to use the satin scrunchies during the day now too. They are pretty and soft on my hair. The concealer brush is great too! It blends my concealer easily and completely under my eyes which is something I’ve been looking to find.
The Nordstrom order I placed has been arriving in separate shipments. One day was the visor, another day was this pair of Nike Retro Terry Shorts.(I’m waiting on another shipment and honestly, I can’t even remember what I ordered. HA). So the shorts. Although they run big, I really like them and have already worn them a few times! I definitely recommend these shorts. They are so cute for every day, just size down if you aren’t sure which size to get.
Also! I reordered another round of my favorite Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup Melting Butter Cleanser Balm. It’s a shame I didn’t think to add it to my order during the Sephora sale BUT I was able to cash in 500 points to save ten dollars! It’s a new thing I believe for Rouge level only. With my Sephora order, I was able to pick my birthday gift. I will let you know what I think once I try the hair products I received in a cute little box which includes this Briogeo Deep Conditioning Hair Mask. It receives very high reviews.
If you are curious about the cleansing balm (I LOVE IT) or any of the other Drunk Elephant products that I use, you can read all about it in this post, Best Clean Skincare Products I’m Using in 2020.
I hope you have a nice weekend!
