I’ve been looking forward to Sephora’s Spring Savings Event for months and now it’s here! It’s even more exciting these days because while we can’t get to an actual store, we can shop online and with little else to do, now is such a good time for a good sale.
So the Sephora Spring Savings sale goes like this:
Rouge level: 20% off April 17 – May 1 (I’m Rouge level, it’s good to be Rouge!)
VIB level: 15% off beginning 15% off April 21 – 29
Insiders level: 10% off April 23 – 27
I put together a really nice list (if I do say so myself) of skincare and makeup products to grab during the Sephora Spring Savings sale. Every item I’m sharing is either already in my Sephora cart or has been in my cart in the past. There’s a couple of products included that have come highly recommended to me but mostly, I’m sharing what I love to get from Sephora. As always, if you have any skincare or makeup questions, definitely let me know. 🙂
Skincare Top Picks
Cleanser: The Drunk Elephant Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is absolutely the best cleanser for removing your makeup (including eye makeup!) gently and efficiently. It’s a balm type of cleanser and can work as an exfoliator too if you add the bamboo booster that it comes with to the balm (only do this a couple of times a week).
First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser –A clean, fragrance-free cleanser for a good price. It’s basically perfect and one I always like to have in the house.
Eyes: Love this Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel from Biossance..
From First Aid Beauty, FAB Skin Lab Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid.
Moisturizer: Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer with Ceramides is my favorite.
The Drunk Elephant Nice To Meet You Set includes the smaller size of the Protini moisturizer and melting butter cleanser to try before buying the full size.
Serums I use the Drunk Elephant Rise and Glow Brightening Duo in the morning and the Nightbright Resurfacing Duo in the evening. It makes things really simple when the serums are packaged this way to know exactly what to use and when.
Masks: Also from Drunk Elephant, the T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial gives the best minifacial if you ask me! It seems everyone else who uses it agrees too.
Now is a great time to grab the F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask. Super gentle and hydrating.
Makeup Top Picks
I use a whole range of products from various brands right now (including a ton from Glossier and MAC lipsticks and lip glosses are my favorite) which aren’t available at Sephora. Listed below though are the products I do use (with just a few I’ve heard are great) that we can get from Sephora.
Primer: I didn’t fully believe in the need for a primer until using Tatcha Silk Canvas Protective Primer. Now I can’t go without it! It makes such a difference in how your skin/makeup looks. You only need to use a small amount of the primer and then I swear it, you barely even need to use more than a drop of foundation. Try the mini version of the primer first if you don’t believe me.
Concealer: The BEST undereye concealer I’ve ever used to date is the Kosas Revealer Concealer. Seriously.
Although, I’ve heard this Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation is an excellent product and I would like to try it.
Blush: I bought my first Charlotte Tilbury Blush in the winter and I’m obsessed.
I love this Diorskin Nude Luminizer Shimmering Glow Powder
Lip/Cheek: I want this Charlotte Tilbury Beach Lip & Cheek Stick for summer!
Also, I do like the Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer.
Eye Shadow: Tartelette in Bloom Clay Eye Shadow Palette offers a wide range of eye shadows that go on and stay on really well without irritating (my opinion – my eyes are sensitive). I also have the smaller version which is a good travel size or a cheaper option if you are new to using Tarte and want to try it.
Eye Liner: I like the Tarte Double Take liner with one side being a pencil, one side is liquid liner.
Shampoo: Okay so. Olaplex hair products are so life-changing that once you use them, you may never want to attempt using another shampoo or conditioner again.
Drunk Elephant recently added a glossing shampoo and cream conditioner to their product line. I just received the samples (haven’t tried them yet) but from what I understand, the products are worth it. I’m curious to see how they compare to Olaplex.
If you have any questions at all or need product recommendations to grab during the Sephora Spring Savings sale, definitely let me know!
