It’s Friday! This week is most definitely a blur. I know I say that the weeks are often a blur, but especially this time of year before school starts, I simply do not know what day it is as they are all blending together.
School for my son starts on Wednesday. I should probably start setting up his binders. Boys (or at least my son) will always need their mother for notebook set up and organization. I am really not sure what would happen if I left this task for him to do at the start of a school year.
Anyway.
Just a few fashion favorites from the week to report before getting the long weekend started.
From J.Crew, I loved these Nike outburst Low-top sneakers when I saw them in the store with the almost glittery effect to the Nike logo! How pretty and cute are they?! Also, I like these slip-on sneakers with the leopard detailing.
I am obsessed with ALL of the J. Crew hair accessories right now. I opted for the satin bow scrunchie in black so far but it comes in other colors and I may need them all.

Do you know about my love for Hello Kitty? I literally almost fell right over on my laptop when the ad for these Hello Kitty ballet flats from Nordstrom came up in my facebook feed. Can’t imagine they are comfortable or age-appropriate but who knows, I will try to find them in the store to try them on. You know, just to see. 🙂
I mentioned that I ordered this long sleeve body suit last week. YOU NEED IT. It is so comfortable (no wonder the brand is called Yummie) and fits so very well. It is absolutely perfect for so many of my dressy joggers and pants that require a fitted top. I now need the white.
The black smock-waist jumpsuit is on sale right now — I really like the fit (I just needed the top altered a bit but I’m petite so that’s normal for me) and I think it’s worth it for the price and versatility.
Great price for this Bailey 44 Lace-Up Back Shirt. I think I want it in the white. And I can’t always wear a floral pattern (really depends on the color and style of the flowers) but I do like the color and style of this wrap dress.
Oh, how I LOVE anything from PJ Salvage — this star lounge hoodie is on sale!
My Sephora order arrived — if you are looking for a gentle yet effective eye cream, try this one from First Aid Beauty. I know a product is good when I can see the results overnight. It does contain retinol, but it seems non-irritating (at least for me) which is awesome. Sometimes a retinol product will cause my skin to get red and irritated when I go outside (even with sunblock). So far, I am totally fine so I think the concentration must be at a good proportion.
Have a great weekend!
