I’m sharing my weekly workout recap today instead of tomorrow because I am going to be away for a few days!
A few quick notes:
I ran 21 miles this week — this is actually higher than what I’ve been averaging lately.
I’m ready for fall running weather although I know that comes with later sunrises so it’s kind of catch 22.
My Pure Barre workouts are still a little lighter than normal but I know this is short-lived. Once the weather turns, combined with darker mornings, I will definitely be spending more time indoors with Pure Barre again instead of walking outside on my non-run days.
Monday – 5 Miles/10 Min Pure Barre
Not much to report from this run. Chose a 10 minute Pure Barre workout (thighs and seat) when I got home before getting in the shower.
Tuesday – 5 Miles
Super humid today but I ran outside because it wasn’t raining.
Wednesday – 40 Min Walk/30 Min Pure Barre
Thursday – 5 Miles
Not even going to check the humidity level, I know it’s high.
Friday – 45 Min Walk/20 Min Pure Barre
Saturday – 6 Miles
Overcast yet the high humidity made it pretty uncomfortable out there.
2 miles easy + 2 miles effort + 2 miles easy. Once I slowed down after mile 4, there was no speeding up again. The air was just so heavy!
Sunday – Off
Today is a travel day. I am packing my sneakers as well as my laptop so I will either use the hotel gym OR choose a Pure Barre On Demand workout from my hotel room. 🙂Workouts from the week on the blog today! #running #purebarre @pure_barre #workouts Click To Tweet
