Well this was a weird week, right? It was short in terms of back to school/work routine but long when you realize New Year’s Eve was Monday night. Either way, I am just glad it’s Friday! I need to regroup so I can truly get back to normal routine next week.
A few quick favorites to share today!
Lunch at Sarabeth’s
Lunch in the city yesterday at Sarabeth’s made the week so much more bearable in terms of getting back to regular working routine. It’s always fun when our New York office gets together. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to eat but then we all remembered we usually like the quinoa ahi tuna. I probably should have checked my blog because the last time we went to Sarabeth’s, I wrote about it.
We also made a stop at the Mandarin Oriental for a quick appointment. The city view is incredible which is a major selling point for weddings at the hotel, in case you were curious.
Trader Joe’s Colorful Carrot Coins
I’m back to the Trader Joe’s colorful carrot coins! Trader Joe’s goes back and forth with stocking the colorful carrot coins. The last time they had them, I wasn’t that interested. We all go through phases, right? The colorful carrot coins are making me happy again – I’ve been adding them to salads and whatever I’m eating every day of the week!
Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale
I told you over the summer that I don’t do that well with Nordstrom Half Yearly Sales. I do like their shoe department but their clothes are iffy for me – they carry some of the brands that I like but not enough of the styles and options like Bloomingdale’s.
Anyway, I did some online searching (which is better for me than the actual store) and here is what I found so far!
My favorite 7 For All Mankind b(air) Ankle Skinny Jeans are on sale plus these b(air) stripe ankle skinny jeans too. Love the black with white stripe! I currently have the light denim with pink stripe but I think the black with white would be a nice option.
I will admit these Golden Goose Superstar shearling slide sneakers are NOT on sale but I am obsessed with figuring out how to rationalize the purchase. Early Mother’s Day gift? Combined with early birthday gift? I need the white. Not even the glitter, or the pink. The white ones.
Oh, and look at these regular-priced Adidas by Alexander Wong Skate Super Sneakers. These are cute. See, I am not good at shopping the sale items!
Ok fine, these Tory Burch Star Studded Sandals are on sale and I do really like them.
Lots of Uggs on sale including these Classic Charm Booties. And the Kate Spade Vivian Pump. I need a new basic black pump.
My Splendid long sleeve crewneck tees are on sale. And I like this Splendid Thermal Tee. Oh! And my Sanctuary Reversible Mini Parka is on sale! They don’t have my pink/green option on sale but you can get the black/red!
