Friday Favorites (Fashion + Holiday Gifts Ideas I Guess Too)

Couldn’t be happier that it’s Friday!! Hanukkah begins Sunday night AND the Islanders are literally back at home tomorrow evening at the Coliseum. Who remembers when I was Newsday famous with my Sunday featured article about how they were leaving me for Brooklyn? A part of me always knew they would be back. My idea of happily ever after. 🙂

Anyway. I didn’t put together a normal Friday Favorites type of post but I did select a few of the favorite fashion links I’ve been browsing this week. Sometimes when I am stuck in writer’s block with my event industry articles, I take a quick mental break by perusing my favorite fashion websites. Now is a good time of year for doing so too with all of the holiday sales going on!

I pulled some of the links I’m super interested in to share with you today. It’s worth noting how happy it makes me to see how many of you enjoy the links I share too. I can usually judge by the clicks which items you are most interested in — it’s nice to see we have the same taste!

Cashmere can be pricey but this Aqua Fitted Cashmere Crewneck Sweater is on sale and so perfect for every day. Love the pink. I don’t always like a turtleneck but may consider this cashmere one from Aqua for the price and comfort in the winter.

I went crazy when I saw this tiered satin dress!! How cute and versatile for so many dressy purposes! Um, and this bubble hem dress in the black. I need to try it on. ASAP.

Also, these leopard print jogger pants from Vintage Havana. I think I need them and LOVE how all of the joggers are shown with heels now. I told you I wore the velvet joggers from the Gap with heels to a work thing? So cute.

Let’s talk Henri Bendel now. I’m getting a little antsy knowing that they are set to close right after the new year. What do I need?! What will I regret not buying while I still can?! I have so much already and previously shared my Must-Haves but there are a few additional things I’m looking at including these Cashmere Star Gloves and these adorable Sparkle Cashmere Slippers. Either item is also a great gift idea.

And then there’s this reversible soft tote. I don’t need it but do really like it (in the gold!) and can see the investment value in it. This top handle crossbody I notice is trending now too. Ugh, so much to consider and choose from!

I probably should have put together an organized Bendel gift guide but I didn’t. Although, my Must-Have list definitely can double as a gift guide so here it is again in case you need some help. Only thing it’s really missing is their Holiday Shop. I would be all about the snow globe! I used to love snow globes.
