By the time this post goes live (I scheduled it in advance which I never do), I will have already been in Florida for a few days!
I couldn’t say anything about this quick trip to Florida because I was surprising my best friend Heather for her birthday!

She is so NOT the easiest person to surprise so hopefully I pulled it off and we are busy laughing our way through Miami. My guess is that I have some pictures posted to Instagram by now so feel free to check those out.
I’m hoping to recap the weekend when I am back but in the meantime, let’s chat quick about my workouts from the week.
I didn’t bring my running shoes to Florida as it was going to be a short trip with little time to ruin our hair with sweat so I did what I could during the week. It was a busy week which featured an early day in the city on Wednesday and a morning flight on Friday. I would have liked an extra run day thrown in but I did what I could!
Monday – 6 Miles
Today really felt like fall! It was the first noticeably cool morning and I enjoyed every second of it.
Tuesday – 50 Minute Pure Barre (one of the ab focused workouts)
I mentioned this workout in my Friday Favorites post.
Wednesday – 35 Minute Pure Barre
This is why I love having Pure Barre On Demand. I can choose the workout that best fits the time window I have and do it when I feel like it. I had to get this workout in earlier than normal because I was leaving for the city but at least I did it!
Thursday – 6 Miles
Decided it’s time to push my pace to see where I am at. I did fairly well considering I am still slowing down for road work (and the darn dog walkers who never seem to want to move out of my way, it’s me making way for them).
One mile warm up + 3 miles effort + 2 mile cool down. It felt good to move fast!
Friday – 30 Minute Pure Barre
Early morning Pure Barre before leaving for the airport. I am ignoring the fact that they revised the Pure Barre On Demand site. I hate change and haven’t really tried to pay attention to what exactly was revised. I can see things are moved around with different icons and I can’t locate my workouts in the same way as usual but again, I’m trying to ignore that it’s going on.Workouts from the week on the blog today! #workouts #running #purebarre @pure_barre Click To Tweet
