I’m so glad that you found yesterday’s post as accurate and as amusing as I did! I didn’t even realize that I forgot to include questions at the end of the post when I wrote it. It seems my blog routine went out the window while I was busy rambling on with what in annoys me in life.
A few Friday Favorites for us today! Have a great weekend. 🙂
Favorite Fitness:
I received an email from Pure Barre about new workouts being added to the Pure Barre On Demand menu Tuesday night which made me excited to try one Wednesday morning. I haven’t been combining 30 minute workouts with running lately but I ended up doing so on Wednesday and really enjoyed it this week!
30 minute Pure Barre workout plus 25 minute run (3 miles) on the treadmill = great workout.
If you missed my Pure Barre FAQ post earlier this week, here’s the link! I answered a whole bunch of the most commonly asked Pure Barre questions.
Favorite Food:
I’m calling this delicious salad that I had a greek salad only because I had it at a great Greek restaurant. It had another name and involved other ingredients than your typical greek salad but I forget exactly what it was called and what was in it. HA.
Pretty sure there were roasted peppers and mushrooms in this bowl. It was terrific.
Oh, and this little chocolate cake that I started eating before realizing I should probably take a picture. So yum.
Favorite Fashion:
April makes me angry because it’s never as warm as I would like it to be. In fact, they are saying snow for tomorrow here in New York! It’s basically cold every single day with no relief and I’m still wearing my winter coat and Ugg boots.
So while I’m certainly stocking up on summer outfits, I’m still also focusing on long sleeves like these Gap Long Sleeve Boatneck Tees. I’ve mentioned these Gap long sleeve tees before but they are worth mentioning again because I bought a few more the other day. So perfect for every day wear (just don’t put them in the dryer for too long!).
Favorite Find:
I’m currently working on a few beauty and skincare posts but I had to mention my latest favorite (and really affordable!) skincare product from e.l.f. Cosmetics.
I’m obsessed with the e.l.f. Hydrating Water Essence!
I wanted a new toner (for after washing my face) and this one from e.l.f is so smooth and hydrating (infused with coconut water), leaving my skin so noticeably soft. It’s alcohol free but contains a small amount of fragrance (which I love but some people can be sensitive too) but is free from parabans, sulfates, and Phthalates.
I HIGHLY recommend this product from e.l.f. (and also highly recommend you use a toner after washing your face, twice a day).
Also! We confirmed the date for my Dior Skincare & Beauty 101 event! It’s going to be Saturday May 19 at 11:00 AM at the Bloomingdales here in New York at Walt Whitman Mall. Please contact me if you are interested in joining us!!

Is it warm or cold where you live right now?
Local readers, please let me know if you can join us for the beauty event!
Its so sad that we are still wearing winter coats! Yesterday I walked from my car to my office in a long winter coat, gloves and a scarf.

Hope you have a great weekend!

I have one of those long sleeves from Gap and should probably pick up a few more. The little cake looks delicious!
Oh, that salad really looks so yummy… Greek or whatever! 🙂
I am intrigued by some of the latest e.l.f. products. Thanks for the recommendation.
Ugh I’m honestly so done with the cold. DC is a tad warmer than NYC, so it’s actually not too bad today, but tomorrow we’re back to the low 40s, and I am NOT okay with it. Fun plans involve writing papers (LOL JK, that is not the fun part), brunch, seeing the cherry blossoms before they are done for the season, and going for a cookout in Baltimore at a friend’s parents’ house.

Colorado is such a funny place, because it goes from REALLY warm spring days of 60s to 70 to a cold snowy day. I’m kind of weird in that I love the fluctuations. 😀 Also, that salad. Roasted peppers are SOOO good.

I like the boat neck tees because I can show on my neck and collar bones. The scoop necks never look quite right on me.
Cake and salad = almost as good as pizza and salad.
