I did a horrible job of taking pictures this weekend. In fact, I don’t even know where the weekend went. Have the last several days been a blur, or is it just me?
Anyway, here are just a few things from the weekend.
I had one of these chocolate-covered pretzels Friday night at Chocolate Works. They called this chocolate-covered pretzel “The Works” because it was covered in m&m’s, peanut butter chips, nonpareils and chocolate chips. It was really good!
Getting back to the super cute sneaker trend, I spotted these star sneakers by Rebecca Minkoff in Bloomingdales. Oh, and this star hoodie sweater at the Gap too! Everything is stars right now!
In other clothing news, I am loving this new flowy, sort of off the shoulder (I think it’s more of a wide neck that I made off the shoulder) shirt that I recently bought. I love this top so much that I went back to buy one in baby blue too.
Only problem is, I can’t find you the link! The best I can tell you is that the brand is called T Party and I bought it at Ruby and Jenna. I can’t even find a match for the black leather wristlet I’m using either but this shape/style is close.
So I try NOT to buy prepared foods from the grocery store. I know very well I can make whatever they sell just as good and for less money, especially when it comes to roasted vegetables. However, I couldn’t resist this roasted cauliflower with raisins at Stew Leonard’s! It looked so good and I was in one of those moods where I was throwing everything into my cart so I bought it. 🙂
And then at Target, I treated myself to this set of Hello Kitty lip balms! I LOVE Hello Kitty (did you know that?) and I really like the Soft Lips brand for lip balms so this was really exciting for me.
It’s time to talk about Turkey Trot races.
While I think Thanksgiving races are awesome, it’s not always possible to get yourself to one nor is it necessary. You can always create your own little Turkey Trot race or workout before celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. I once put together this Turkey Trot running round-up so I figured I would share it again today in case you want to create a fun workout for yourself this Thursday.
I love that this week is a short week!

The semi off the shoulder sweater is so cute Meredith! I love it. I’m with you on not buying prepared foods from the grocery store but sometimes it’s a must for easy meals or side dishes.
I’ve been doing a Turkey Trot for as long as I can remember. I think it started as a way for my dad and grandpa to get my siblings and I out of the house while my mom and grandma prepped the turkey and cleaned up a bit. Even though I’m not going home for the holiday this year, I signed my boyfriend and I up. I don’t think we’ll actually race but just jog it. At least it’s exercise!
that will be so fun! wishing you a great time at the race!
We usually go for our own run rather than sign up for a race. Some year I want to do a Turkey Trot, but then I also enjoy taking the morning at my own pace. Burts Bees Ultra Conditioning is my favorite lip balm.

I love Burt’s Bees products!
Im thinking about doing a 5k on Thanksgiving but I kind of want to see how I feel as it gets closer. I may just want to have the freedom to do whatever kind of run Im in the mood for that day!

Ohh those pretzels look amazingly decadent! And love the top, too! Right up my alley!
No turkey trot race for me this year 🙁 But hopefully I will get to run because my Thanksgiving day will definitely not be complete with out it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! <3

I’m not running a race this thanksgiving, but I plan on getting a decent run in before I go to work!

That chocolate covered pretzel with the works makes me swoon. I could go for one or six of those right now. Also, love the off the shoulder (boat neck or whatever) shirt. It’s adorable on you.
