Yay! My laptop is all fixed! I was so eager to pick it up from the Apple Store yesterday afternoon that I even delayed eating my lunch to go over to the mall to grab it! Now I just need to set everything back up so it feels like home again.
Let’s talk fashion finds real quick today.
So even though I work from home the majority of my days, that doesn’t mean I lounge around in my workout gear. You actually won’t EVER catch me in my workout clothes unless I am actually running!
I am a big fan of being comfortable yet trendy so I seek out sweatshirts, hoodies, tops, and leggings to create daytime outfits that I love. In my opinion, it’s always important to get dressed, do your hair and put on your makeup even if you are not planning to be seen by an office full of people all of the time. You need to be able to look in the mirror throughout the day and like what you see!
Vintage Havana is a top favorite brand of mine for comfy, yet trendy clothing and right now, they have a ton of fun options at a decent price point.
I spotted this Vintage Havana Burntout Star Lace Up Hoodie the other day while shopping. While I didn’t buy it immediately, it’s been on my mind and I think maybe we all need it. I love stars!
They also have these Vintage Havana Star Print Lace Up Sweatpants which would be a variation on bottoms for me in place of regular leggings. I’m seeing a big movement towards the jogger style of sweatpants lately. What do you think of them?
There’s this Vintage Havana Star Print Lace Up Sweat Shirt, which comes without a hood and this Vintage Havana Distressed Star Intarsia Sweater too.
If you aren’t into stars, I also like this Vintage Havana Cold-Shoulder Lace-Up Top and this Splendid Cold Shoulder Hoodie.
This studded plaid flannel shirt is fun too. I have one extremely similar! Oh, and one more – this Splendid Scoop Neck Tee is one of those tops that I will be buying in every color. Splendid washes really well and can be worn with leggings, skinny jeans, and even real pants.
I could keep going and going but I think I just spent enough of your money for one day. 🙂

I hope you have a great birthday!!
I totally agree with you about the importance of getting dressed and putting makeup on even if you’re not leaving the house to go to work. As a college student, I see quite literally everything with regards to attire in class (velour tracksuits, I am not kidding) but I know I feel way more motivated to work when I feel confident about how I’m presenting myself. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this way!
omg I remember what I would see in my college classes too! I always got dressed, I don’t know how to roll out of bed and go – I would never feel awake or productive walking around like that all day!
LOVE your sweatshirt and LOVE the star sweatpants-I think I need those!

I thought of you as soon as I saw the sweatpants in the store!
Yup I totally work from home, and hoodies are kind of my fashion of choice for those days. 😀 I’m so glad you got your laptop fixed; that’s a great weekend blessing!

Yes! I am so happy to have my laptop back!
I was always one of those people who got dressed and did my make up for class in college and grad school – no sweats to school for me. I don’t do my make up everyday, but I get dressed to work because the mentality makes a difference! Thanks for sharing my link!
