Social Media Stalking & Other Random Stuff

thinking out loud

Does everyone out there realize that once you view an Instagram story, the person whose story you viewed can see you viewed it? It’s pretty entertaining for me lately to see who is viewing my stories.

Like, hi! Thanks for checking up on me! Yes, I’m alive and well and at the beach today but why does that matter so much to you when we no longer speak?

beach day

Social media stalking I guess isn’t what it used to be now that people can see you are seeking them out. Are you a social media stalker? I am not, at least not anymore. Don’t get me wrong. I am the queen of capabilities when it comes to uncovering information via social media. It’s just that now, I don’t care enough to put my abilities to work nor do I care to keep tabs on people from my past. My friend Meghan and I can really rival the FBI when it comes to uncovering information though, trust me on that.

I am still over here adjusting to my new computer. I really like this MacBook Air thing but I keep touching the screen to scroll up and down. One day maybe I will forget that my laptop used to be a touch screen. One day maybe I will also transfer my files correctly and figure out how to organize and upload my photos to the blog. I am not doing it easily or correctly at the moment so please, bear with me a little bit longer. And no, I don’t want to take an Apple class or call Apple care. I am one part stubborn and one part not interested enough to learn things the right way the first time around.

My son must be having a blast this week with his teen tour. I know this because I have really only heard from him one morning when he couldn’t find something in his suitcase. Operating under the assumption that he is having the time of his life, I am free to enjoy myself without a care in the world for the next six weeks, Monday through Friday, while he is away. A mother is only as happy as her child so knowing he is happy, leaves me happy and free to do whatever I want. Make no mistake, I am maximizing my freedom and going out every single night. Because I can. 🙂

I use PicMonkey on my mac but it seems to work better in Chrome for some reason. I used Instagram stories for like a week and then didnt like it for many reasons. Now I don’t even think to look at other peoples stories! I should probably try to get back into it again because my instagram account has taken a nosedive ever since they changed the algorithm.

I used to be a social media stalker, but I was always SO worried I would accidentally “like” a photo or type in their name in my status instead of the search bar (I’ve seen that happen WAY too much). I don’t really care who views my stories, and if we don’t talk I just assume they’re curious what I’m up to which is fine with me!

Haha yep i’ve done the story thing before!!

Speaking of instagram… have you ever done a strength training guide from someone on there? I was looking at one by Tammy hembrow but unfortunately theres a bad review when i google her (link: https://www.workoutbattle.com/tammy-hembrow-workout-review/).

Looks pretty worrying so I don’t think I’ll get it. But wanted to know your thoughts on it too!

    Thanks,

I’m sorry, I haven’t tried that workout or heard of it. I can only recommend Pure barre workouts if you are looking for a strength training program – I love it and love the new Pure Barre on Demand!
