Hi! I have a quick 5 weekend things worth sharing on this summer Monday morning!
#1 – I was in Target Saturday morning when a man approached me in the shampoo aisle to ask if I would like to have lunch with him.
Um, NO THANK YOU.
Did he think I was going to say, Oh yes! Where would you like to go? Are you in the mood for sushi?
My mother thought that maybe I left the house without my pants on again and that is what enticed him.
#2 – I had Ralph’s Ices Saturday night and it was just okay. I picked my usual candy bar fudge flavor plus a scoop of peanut butter fudge pretzel but overall, there weren’t enough candy pieces in either flavor which was disappointing. I need lots of candy pieces!
#3 – This article regarding the 10 snobbiest cities in New York explains everything. I grew up in one of the towns and currently live in another so now I have documented proof and excuse regarding my personality. It’s not my fault, I am a product of my environment! Not that I total agree with this list but hey, it’s funny.
#4 – We went down to Long Beach yesterday for lunch and to walk around the Boardwalk.
It was really a gorgeous day (and the humidity wasn’t high either!).
We had lunch at a restaurant I’ve been to before but it always changes names so I really don’t know where we ate exactly but the Chop Chop salad was good.
#5 – I stopped for a car wash yesterday. My beloved shade of white gets really dirty but really, I wanted my car super duper clean for my little road trip this week!
I will be away for a few days (!!) but don’t worry, I have a couple of posts lined up. Have a great week! 🙂

I got my first car wash last week since getting my new car! Then a bird pooped on it 2 days later. Isn’t that what always happens? Have a great trip!

That is really damn weird about the guy asking you to lunch. The boardwalk looks like such a beautiful place. I would LOVE it there. I’d sit there and people watch all day long!! Have fun on your road trip! Be safe!

Was that seriously the first thing that the guy said to you? I could understand if you had a cute conversation or something, but to just come up and ask you out is a bit bold! In the shampoo aisle none the less lol!

yup! that’s all he said to me! can you imagine?!
Have fun on your road trip!!! I have a white car also and it gets so dirty so easily – especially when we got into the mountains. After we camped, the first thing I did was get it washed!

I bet you wouldn’t be the only person at Target without pants.
That boardwalk looks like fun. We don’t have that here, although lots of water and beaches.
