I have a few favorites to share today!
First, this off the shoulder top from the Gap in white. I was so excited to find it not only because it fits well but the price point is perfect. I had been eyeing this Splendid version for a while (LOVE SPLENDID!) so I was glad that I finally picked one! While they are slightly different tops, I don’t think you need both. Just pick the one that fits the best. The Gap top runs much bigger than the Splendid top.
It’s important that I say again that I love the lululemon Lost in Pace shirt. I wore it for the race last weekend and really love how it fits! I do not run in tank tops all summer because I look to protect my skin as much as possible from the sun. So, this shirt gives me that coverage for my back, neck and arms without letting me get hot.
I like the loose fit of the sleeves and the rest of the shirt flows so easily as compared to more fitted nature of the Run Swiftly.
Beauty & Skincare:
We LOVE this Burt’s Bee’s After Sun Soother moisturizer. I use it all of the time, not just for after the sun! It goes on super smooth and leaves the skin soft immediately with being greasy. With a mild scent, the ingredients list is minimal and is free from the parabans and “bad” ingredients.
I’ve been using the SkinCeuticals Tone Equalizing Toner for a while now after I wash my face. Toners are critical for balancing your PH after washing your face and this one gently exfoliates too. This toner comes in a spray bottle which I am finding to be great because it is lasting a really long time. Just a few spritzes and you are good to go.
Also from SkinCeuticals worth mentioning again is my favorite sunblock, their Physical Fusion UV Defense sunscreen. I’ve been using it for years which you probably know by now!
A mineral sunscreen with an SPF 50, it’s great for running, won’t clog your pores and doesn’t contain the harmful ingredients often hidden in sunblock today. You are using SPF 50, right? Please say yes, you don’t want to wrinkle or cause sun damage!
And since my birthday is on Monday, I am all about cakes and desserts for this weekend. While I haven’t totally decided on my birthday dinners and desserts just yet, I do think that I narrowed down my main birthday cake choice.
I will absolutely not be baking it myself, that’s for sure! Stay tuned. 🙂
In the meantime, these recipes sparked my interest this week while I had birthday desserts on my mind:
Sheet Pan Cookie Cake via Peas & Crayons
Ultimate Reese’s Brownies via Crazy For Crust
5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies via Pinch Of Yum
