We recently went to Ben & Jerry’s for ice cream. They no longer sell my flavor which was the banana peanut butter greek yogurt so this time I tried the fairly new vegan PB & Cookies. Why did they have to discontinue my banana peanut butter greek yogurt?! I just had it at the Ben & Jerry’s at Midway Airport when I went to Chicago?! What the heck?!
I am pretty sure that I once sampled the vegan PB & Cookies but this was my first time ordering a full cup. It’s really good! Would I say it’s the best flavor I have ever tasted? No, but for a vegan ice cream (made with almond milk) I think it’s definitely good. Just make sure to always order your ice cream with hot fudge. 🙂
I am still obsessed with listening to 80’s on 8 on satellite radio while driving.

Songs like this, on the subject of affairs, used to really bother me to the point where I couldn’t even listen to them for more than a second without quickly switching the station.
But not anymore. I think I have officially moved past that part of my life.
In fact, I find this Secret Lovers song slightly funny now.
If you listen to the lyrics of Secret Lovers, she had to wait by the home phone for him to call. Can you imagine? There were no cell phones in the 80’s. No texts, emails or social media.
Cheating and carrying on an affair must have been real hard back then yet people made it happen and work anyway.
Some think it’s easier to be found out now because of social media and advancements in technology.
Well if you want my opinion, if someone wants to know what is going on, they will know, regardless of the technology available to them.
You know the saying the wife is the last to know? It’s true. She is last to know because she doesn’t want to know. The signs are all there immediately but she dismisses them, making excuses and blocking them out. That is, until she really wants to accept that it’s happening. Then she knows.
Trust me on this, I’ve been the wife.

Not only was it the last regular season home game for the Islanders at the Coliseum, I was a trending top news story with my Newsday article about the Islanders AND we had our epic Crowd Pleaser Sundae at Friendly’s. It was a great weekend, one I will never forget.
4/13/14: More/Fitness Women’s Half Marathon Day – Little did I know this would become the half marathon I didn’t finish because my period arrived early. I didn’t know why I didn’t feel well but I thought I would faint or die during the race so I dropped out around mile seven I think.

I love 80s on 8 and 90s on 9! SiriusXM is just the best. I probably haven’t even gotten through all the stations yet…in my old car i left the radio on one station and never touched it, now I can never run out of things to listen to!

Hot fudge makes ice cream a million times better…and it’s already delicious! And I agree, songs from the 90s can be so hilarious now that we have so much technology.

I loved the banana peanut butter Greek yogurt Ben and Jerrys– weird because I just had it in Florida not that long ago. I hate when a company stops making something and it appears to be a seller. It’s like when Trader Joe’s discontinues something and everyone I know keeps it as a staple in their homes. I am a person that gathers favorite eats so for me it’s so annoying. Affairs are a thing you need to be in the inner circle of one to truly get the anger, diceit and hurt all wrapped up in one that comes along. I pulled my very good friend through one and it can be a harsh learning experience that grows you all that much stronger. family and bff’s are immereasurable during a time like that. Life moves on and we move onward and upward and life shines again often leaving the cheater in not such a happy situation years later wishing they had behaved differently. Okay enough of me and on to wishing you and your family health, love, and happiness always Enjoy the weather blog friend!!!
I just had it too in Chicago but they told me at the store here that it was discontinued! I hope we can still find it sometimes, maybe she was wrong. have a great weekend, it’s supposed to be really nice out, especially on Sunday!

I’ve never dropped out in the middle of a race, but I have had days when I can’t run or wish I could have run but it wouldn’t have been a good idea.
I haven’t tried very many B&J’s flavors but I think I had one with peanut butter that tasted really good… 😀

I have tried the dairy free ben and jerry’s and I just don’t like any of them. I mean they are ok but,not to cute my own horn, but I used to make vegan gelato at my coffee shop and it was ten times better without the odd after taste I feel these have.

the first time I tried it at ben & jerry’s, I did notice an after taste. this time I didn’t though. maybe each batch comes out different.
I haven’t tried any of Ben & Jerry’s vegan flavors, although I’m really tempted to since high lactose foods and my stomach don’t always get along (although the occasional real ice cream is so worth it). Chocolate Therapy is my favorite flavor of theirs!

definitely try it if you can find it! I too avoid real ice cream when I can because too much will upset my stomach.
Being the wife must have sucked. Your strength amazes me, especially because I see you as an independent, take charge, get it done type of woman. You’re awesome.
Also, B&J’s disappoints me now. It’s not the same as I remember.
