Links I Am Loving

I can’t remember the last time I missed a Thinking Out Loud post but it happened yesterday.

It wasn’t totally intended. I’ve been having small issues with my site every afternoon which combined with trying to keep up with my massive writing workload for work kept me from posting. I reach a point in the day where my brain stops thinking and this time, it stopped thinking before a post could be written.

But it’s Friday! And I have my eye on a few things such as this off the shoulder knit dress from Abercrombie. And these adorable Idalah Bow Espadrille sandals from Kate Spade. My mind wasn’t even on sandals until Heather started sending me links to the sandals she was interested in and now I need new sandals too.

I am also starting to look for new bathing suits and cover ups for summer. This is a search I typically do in person and one I can’t really rely on Forever 21 to save me money. I tend to spend more on swimwear for quality and fit reasons. A good bathing suit can last for years so I think it’s worth the investment. I did spot this cover up dress at Forever 21 which is cute. And I saw this cover up  at Bloomingdale’s. It’s Bloomingdale’s Friends and Family time right now!

Truth: For the longest time, I could type the letters B-L-O into my web browser and immediately bring up my Bloglovin page. Nowadays, if I type B-L-O into the browser, I get Bloomingdale’s. That’s my sign that I’ve been shopping a whole lot lately!

I obviously need new shoes, especially for the summer! Im taking a few days off next week when the school system is on spring break and I hope to do some shopping. We don’t have a Bloomingdales around here, but I’lll check out Nordstrom. Have a great weekend!

That post on forgiveness sounds good. And there are always so many good looking recipes every week; it’s hard to choose which one to make first.

This weekend, my sister is going to go breed her dog, and I think I’ll be cleaning, maybe doing a long run!

Are you training for a race?

I was sort of training for the li half but I don’t think I will be able to run it (I don’t have someone to watch my son during that weekend) but I think I’m planning to run a 10 mile race memorial day weekend. not sure if I’m technically training for that though! have a good weekend

Some of those cover ups from Forever 21 are adorbs and super cheap!

3 things this weekend: running, going to my son’s track meet (woohoo), and traveling out of town so my son can work on his state project, and then Napa with my family and mom and sis. Okay, that’s 4 things but 4 good things 😉

Whoa all of those recipes look so good – especially the smashed potatoes! I somehow managed to randomly round out my spring/summer wardrobe during winter sale – cute casual shorts here, t-shirts for running there – and now I can’t think of anything that I need (but just give it time).
