So I still can’t get into my Instagram account!
I had updated my Instagram password a few months ago but usually follow a similar pattern to my passwords so that I can remember them.
Clearly, not this time!
Please be sure you remember your password for Instagram because if you don’t, the password reset process when you forget your password and are logged out of Instagram is not like any other social media account.
Instagram sent me a 5 digit code that I had to write down on a plain piece of white paper along with my name. Then I had to TAKE A PICTURE holding the paper and send it to them.
I haven’t heard a word since sending that email. It’s a little bit annoying at this point to not be able to access one of my accounts.
Anyway, on to my workouts!
Monday – Pure Barre/5 Miles
I wasn’t in a rush so I had time to start my morning with a Pure Barre Mile High Series DVD (disc 1) followed by an easy 5 mile run outdoors.
Tuesday – Pure Barre/35 Min Run
Losing my phone yesterday had a major affect on my workout for today.
I don’t like to run without music and I normally track my outdoor runs with Runkeeper. Without my phone, I was without both of those necessities.
I had a few options:
Run inside on the treadmill and watch television.
Run outdoors without music or Runkeeper.
Skip my run because I am a baby who doesn’t like to run without her phone.
I ended up switching up my workouts slightly so that I would still run outdoors just not as long. Normally I run a little longer/faster on Tuesday’s but the thought of an hour outside running fast without music was not appealing.
So, I went with a Pure Barre workout followed by an easy run outside for 35 minutes.
Wednesday – 7 Miles
Nothing too exciting to report here other than I was able to run outdoors again! I was tired and my legs were a little heavy but it was still a great run.
Thursday – 8 Miles (fartleks)
I really wanted to take advantage of running not only outdoors this week but running a little longer if I could since I had the time.
8 miles is fairly routine for me but not so much in the winter months due to the time constraints from the late sunrise.
I went with fartleks for four miles after a 2 mile warm up. It’s fun to speed up and slow down whenever I feel like it! I really like fartleks for that reason.
Friday – 4 Miles/Pure Barre
The sun was shining so early and it was already 50 something degrees before 7:00am! I headed out for my run and then came home for two Pure Barre Tone in 10 Workouts:
- Arms & Abs
- Seat & Abs
Saturday – 11.55 Miles
Why the random mileage? Well, I wanted to stop at 11 miles but then told myself at the 11 mile mark to keep going until 12 miles. I realized I was totally over this run and wanted to go home so I stopped.
I was completely overdressed for this run because I didn’t realize it was as warm as it was when I headed outside. I never really found my groove which I think had something to do with being overdressed. It was also super foggy as it was really all week in the morning.
By early afternoon though it was gorgeous outside and felt a bit like summer. Sometimes I forget I am on an island until I am suddenly level with and looking at the water.
Sunday – Pure Barre
