Who else is thrilled that today is Friday and the weekend is here? I know, ridiculous question.
Cinnamon Vanilla Yogi Tea
This cinnamon vanilla Yogi Tea has become my new favorite. It has such a mild yet pleasant flavor and is caffeine free which makes it perfect for drinking over and over all day long!
I can’t drink cold water all day in the winter so lots of warm mugs of tea are what I need to keep me going.
Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Peel
I don’t really believe in the Yogi Tea claim to healthy skin above (beyond just drinking a lot so your skin is hydrated) but I do like these easy peels for Smooth & Radiant skin from Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare.
These peels are really gentle and super easy to do on a regular basis. While you can do them every day, I probably only do it once a week. It comes with a serum too which is an added bonus!
I also like that it’s a quick process: you wipe your face with one cloth and then wipe your face with the other cloth about a minute or two later. There’s no washing off and no long wait process!
Henri Bendel Beauty Essentials Trio Set
You know that Henri Bendel is one of my most favorite stores. I was on a mission for several months to select a new set of cosmetic bags and finally made my decision recently for the Beauty Essentials Trio Set.
Henri Bendel offers so many styles of cosmetic bags to choose from so this wasn’t easy!!
While the pattern I chose is slightly different from in the picture (they no longer seem to sell the one I chose), I always love Henri Bendel’s designs. I also LOVE the various size options in this set because they are great for travel, in your everyday bag for makeup or even in the summer for your beach bag. The coated canvas material is nice and durable and each bag has a satin lining. 🙂
The Bar Mitzvah Sweatshirt
I easily wear the sweatshirt we designed as favors for my son’s Bar Mitzvah twice a week, if not more! What I love so much about it is not only the fit and design but how well it washes. The color never fades!
Favorite Songs:
Bringing back some of my 80’s favorites when I run lately!
Solitaire by Laura Branigan
I had Solitaire on my mix tape back in high school! We used to listen to it while driving and now I love to listen while running. It’s such a great song!
Making Love Out of Nothing At All by Air Supply
I’ve had the dance mix version of Making Love Out of Nothing At All for the longest time on my playlist but the regular version is actually really good too while running! It was always my favorite Air Supply song (am I totally revealing my age here with an Air Supply reference?!).

3 things you are doing this weekend?!
Do you love 80’s music? Do you listen to 80’s or even 90’s music when you run?
Who remembers making “mix tapes”?? I bet kids today don’t even know what that means!!
I love listening to 80s and 90s music on Pandora when I strength train. I was about to ask you if the tea really helps your skin stay hydrated but I guess you sort of answered that. I need to get back to drinking tea, just always forget about it. Have a great weekend!

I mean, staying hydrated will help your skin but I am not sold on this particular’s teas actual “healthy skin” benefits – but who knows!!
Thanks for sharing my workout! I think there’s some truth to the PMS article. I got such awful cramps that I would be in bed all day, but avoiding added sugar (except dark chocolate) and getting lots of B vitamins, magnesium, and exercise helped me function with those cramps. You should try it! Have a great weekend!

I’ve found that less caffeine and less animal protein plus more water works wonders for me!
I still have a mixed tape I made Jason (my first husband) when we were 16! I have nothing to play it in though. ha ha! I’ve been listening to the 90’s music station on Apple music lately and LOVING IT ALL.

I need to find my mix tapes – they have to be somewhere! ah, remember those days of making a tape for someone?!
Wish I had kept my mix tapes lol! I also need to buy that tea again, it’s one of my favorites.

I had never tried it until recently, there’s just something so good about it even though the taste is mild!
Sweatshirts are my favorite! 🙂 I love how comfy they are, and that vanilla tea sounds delightful.
