Friday Favorites – December 2016

I am back with another round of Friday Favorites for this week!

Friday Favorites

Green Mountain Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Coffee:

Between yesterday’s post and now today, I think it’s obvious that I like my cups of coffee.

Have you tried Green Mountain’s Cinnamon Sugar Cookie coffee yet?!

The aroma coming from the coffee mug when this coffee brews is simply amazing to be around.

Now, my all time favorite Green Mountain K Cup coffee variety is the Golden French Toast coffee but I recently bought the Cinnamon Sugar Cookie coffee and LOVE IT TOO. Please try one of these coffee varieties while eating an English muffin and peanut butter as the flavor combination is just perfect.

XM Satellite Radio – 80’s on 8!

Finally I reconnected the XM Satellite Radio in my car. I just got so lazy about calling the number to set it back up but it’s back and I am obsessed with 80’s on 8 all over again. I mean, come on, Debbie Gibson Shake Your Love?! The best.

Hello Kitty OPI Nail Polish:

Did you know that I am a lifelong Hello Kitty collector? My eyes are drawn to my favorite little Hello Kitty so I tend to pick the OPI nail polish bottles that have her cute little face with her bow all over the cap.

OPI has a Hello Kitty collection right now and lately I seem to pick this shade called Small & Cute for my nails.

It’s similar to Essie’s Sugar Daddy but a little bit pinker without being chalky.

Trader Joe’s Pepper Jelly:

Recently I had dinner at Market Bistro where I enjoyed the most delicious crispy brussels sprouts served with a side of pepper jam for dipping.

Immediately I decided that I needed to recreate the dish using Trader Joe’s Pepper Jelly, an item I never bought but knew about from others.

I’ve used this Pepper Jelly a few times at home with roasted brussels sprouts and it’s perfect! You must try it.

Bar Mitzvah Picture:

I am still working my way through the proofs from the Bar Mitzvah but wanted to share this one with you because it is definitely one of my favorites!

So there’s this tradition where the girls decide to honor the last Bar Mitzvah of the grade (meaning, the last of the boys in the grade/group of friends to have his Bar Mitzvah party), by wearing their Bat Mitzvah gowns to his party to celebrate.

My son’s Bar Mitzvah was deemed the last Bar Mitzvah of the year so we had the extreme pleasure of witnessing 50 girls parading around in their gorgeous gowns. It was one of the most special things to see ever!

I just want to share with you how much I and the people I have recommended to your blog love it!!! You are such a great balance of life experences(that often lead to us trying a new place or item), information, stimulating conversations that leads to mind searching and positive self evaluation and certainly humor. You are a blog friend to many, many people who appreciate all the time, effort and love you devote to your blog. Plus, on a more personal note, you have a huge heart and have helped me to pursue and uncover the root of my problem and I finally have answers as well as comfort from a lot of your advice, btw, the English muffins are the best!!! Thank you for just being who you are–a wonderful, caring soul.
