I am finally getting around to this 5 Things Survey which has been floating around the internet. After seeing Alyssa share her 5 Things last week, I decided it was time I tackled it too.
I changed up some of the 5 Things categories though and added some of my own as well 🙂
5 Foods I Eat Every Day:
It’s weird to not include peanut butter in this list but I haven’t been eating it every day like usual. After having a stomach virus a few weeks ago, peanut butter lost its appeal. I don’t even understand this myself but I am just going with what I am in the mood to eat for now.
- Oatmeal
- Apples
- Sweet Potatoes
- Chocolate
- Avocado
I had the best baked oatmeal at the Premiere Diner over the weekend!
5 Beauty Products I Use Everyday:
- Shiseido moisturizers (I use a few products morning/night all listed in this post)
- Guerlain Foundation
- Dior Prime & Conceal Stick
- Dior Lip Glow
- Dior Eye Reviver Eye Shadow Palette
Recent Beauty/Skincare posts of interest which include all of the above products:
5 Favorite Running Songs:
- The Phoenix – Fall Out Boy
- Bring Em Out – Jay Z
- My Songs Know What Your Did In the Dark (Light Em Up) – Fall Out Boy
- Can’t Hold Us – Macklemore
- Holding Out For a Hero – Bonnie Tyler

5 lululemon Must-Haves:
- Run Swiftly long & short sleeve
- Run Inspire Crop II’s
- Runderful Half – Zip
- High Times Pants
- Fluff-Over Mittens
From last summer, a pink Run Swiftly short sleeve and patterned Run Inspire Crops. I forgot I had these pants in my closet!

5 Things I Wear (almost) Everyday:
- My running shoes
- Thorlos Experia socks < – love them!
- Angel Perfume < – just ran out, need a refill
- Leggings <- High Times are my favorite, in below picture
- Some sort of sweatshirt <- Hey, I work from home!
See this picture with Michele from a few months ago? This is basically my uniform.
5 Quick Things About Me:
- I am a lefty but can do a lot of things with my right hand really well
- I am an only child
- I have always liked to eat with little spoons and forks and will use a spoon for anything that I can (like cake, I like cake with a spoon).
- Jerry Seinfeld’s sister was my next door neighbor growing up
- I could eat frozen yogurt for lunch every day and never get tired of it
I had this frozen yogurt for lunch on Saturday while walking around Bloomingdales. Forty Carrots frozen yogurt, especially from the city store, has always been a favorite of mine.
Your turn! Tell me 5 things about your weekend OR pick one of the categories above and share your 5 things with us!

Fun survey! I would definitely wear leggings and sweatshirts all the time if I worked from home. I am the same with small spoons and forks! We have bigger ones that I avoid, and I will actually take the little ones out of the dishwasher and hand wash them if we run out! And I definitely prefer to use a spoon whenever I can as well.

I never use our big forks or spoons either! I like my yogurt store spoons or my son’s baby spoons over our silverware spoons lol
I love these surveys! My weekend was boring so I’ll try to come up with a few things…
1. long walks with selma and Dan
2. garage sale craziness at REI
3. long run in the rain
4. meal prepping for the week
5. cancelled my gym membership since we’re MOVING!
Yes, my life is boring lately!

I only use little spoons–I mean often times little espresso spoons lol. I always eat with a spoon. I put one at my place setting at every meal and always request one in a restaurant when there is not one. my daughter likes to eat her breakfast and desert with her little silverware from when she was kid and believe me she is well beyond that. Love your taste on lulu. Have a great week.
we still use my son’s little utensils too. and the cute plates and bowls.
Such a fun survey! I wear sweatshirts or a non-running tech layer (I have some I like too much to sweat in) almost everyday plus the PrAna Kara jean which is so comfy. And Lancome mascara and earrings are also part of my uniform. Working from home definitely has its perks!

I forgot earrings! I only take mine out to clean them.
So jealous that you were from work. That would be awesome! How cool you were neighbors with Jerry Seinfeld’s sis. I would love to eat avocados everyday but they are so darn expensive. I made some guacamole last night as a little treat last night. …so good!

ugh, really, avocados aren’t at a good price by you now? they are really cheap here at the moment, I am guessing because in season. Hopefully you get some good pricing soon.
I totally agree with the Macklemore song–that’s always on my running playlist. I also love listening to Demi Lovato’s ‘Confident,’ and DMX to get me pumped up!

Oats and chocolate are on my list too, and then bananas, almond butter, and dates. And I’ve been stalking Lulu’s page for a few weeks now and they have SO many cute things. I think I’m gonna have to finally head in there… and probably walk out with half the store 😆
Amanda @ .running with spoons. recently posted…currently – march 2016
why do I not eat dates? I should. I have them. I just don’t ever eat them.
Loving that froyo just as much as when you Instagrammed it! You know my fives now 🙂 but I think we can agree that peanut butter and apples are the best.
Alyssa @ renaissancerunnergirl recently posted…Weekly Workouts and Updates: Spring Has Sprung, 3/7-3/13
yeah, apples and pb are a classic combo
I love that picture of us! That’s probably my “dress up” uniform which is pathetic 🙂 I’m itching to buy a couple of new short sleeve swiftly tees but am resisting for now.
Michele @ paleorunningmomma recently posted…Boston Marathon Training Week 7 and a Saturday Night Scare
maybe wait until some of the colors go on sale? I know they will, not by much, but they do. or wait! go to the outlet in riverhead!
SO COOL about Jerry Seinfeld’s sister. That’s amazing! 5 things I did this weekend:
1) Watched Kylah’s soccer game
2) Went for a run
3) Got our kitty spayed
4) Vacuumed and mopped floors (right before Callum went ballistic with a box of fishy crackers)
5) Went out for appies and wine last night with Andrew (and our cute little tagalong)
Suzy recently posted…Mileage Monday
I think I saw the mess he made with the crackers on Instagram!
You? Eat sweet potatoes, or froyo, wear lulu or running shoes? NAAAAHHHHH I don’t see that every happening 😀
Susie @ Suzlyfe recently posted…Recharging For a New Week (Weekend Recap)
I still refuse to use big utensils. I just invested in my first lululemon gear, a couple sports bras and tanks and hoping it doesn’t become a dangerous obsession! But I will say – the bras = 100% worth it.

so so so worth it! even if it’s more expensive, lulu stuff is worth it because of the fit and how durable it is. not to mention, always looks good! I don’t even need anything new right now because everything I have bought lasts for so long.
5 Foods I eat everyday: eggs, white rice, hot sause (tons of it!), banana and greek yogurt. Day looks strange without it!
I know exactly what you mean when I don’t eat something that I normally do!
Love your top 5 running songs! I love running to Fall Out Boy but can rarely listen to it otherwise because it seems kind of aggressive. Aka perfect for running! I’m a lefty too but do lots of things right-handed since the right-handers basically overtake everything in this world.
Caroline M recently posted…Welcome!
right? I remember having to use lefty scissors as a kid, although somehow I was able to use the righty scissors just fine
Leggings and sweatshirts are the best outfit! I wish I could wear that everyday too!
Shannon recently posted…Vegetable Pot Pie
so comfortable!
What a fun little survey. I might have to borrow this one, especially since I use Angels perfume and adore Maklemore. That’s my boy, not that I know him or anything, but you know what I mean.

isn’t it such a good perfume?! definitely do the survey, it’s fun.
I would definitely have Teeghan from Half-Baked Harvest come and cook for me, great choice! I’m a spoon and small cutlery person too – I think it’s because I like to really enjoy every bit of food!
