Recipe Links And National Ice Cream Day

Happy National Ice Cream Day!

Okay, Red Mango isn’t technically ice cream but we had it yesterday so I am sharing the photo with you this morning.

On the ice cream front though, we must locate this new Peanut Butter & Co./Turkey Hill collaboration special flavor:

Let’s keep our eyes on the freezer cases in our grocery stores and as soon as we see this limited edition variety, we agree to let each other know immediately, deal?

I wanted to pop in this morning to share a bunch of links to recent recipes I have been pinning to my various recipe boards.

So many of you read the blog via email and mobile device which I think doesn’t give you the opportunity each day to check out my latest pins which are displayed in the side bar here on the site.

Do you use Pinterest? I really love it for the organizational aspect it offers me for keeping track of my recipes although I will admit to pinning a ton and then forgetting what it was I really wanted to make.

I don’t know if it is because I am lazy, a creature of habit, rarely follow a specific baking recipe or happy with my routine meals but I should stop making excuses and test some of these out, or, at the very least, use the recipes for inspiration to create something new.

Crispy Baked Onion Rings

Three Cheese Zucchini Stuffed Shells

Pizza Roasted Chick Peas

Quinoa Crusted Baked Three Cheese Zucchini And Eggplant Parmesan

Tater-Less Parmesan Zucchini Tots

Carrot Hot Dogs

Gluten-Free Savory Cornbread Waffles

I should remember to use my waffle iron more often, especially at times other than breakfast.

I used it Friday morning to make blueberry (and mini chocolate chip) waffles for a special breakfast.

kodiak cakes waffles

Peanut Butter Cookie Chia Seed Banana Pudding

Skinny Reese’s Milk Shake

Easy Peanut Butter Brownie Ice Cream

Ice Cream Sundae Brownies

Chocolate Strawberry Fudge Bars

Let me know if you try any of the recipes out!

I bought zucchini and eggplant the other day in the hopes that I will actually use it to make the tater-tots, baked parmesan or even the stuffed pasta shells.

It would have helped if I bought the actual pasta shells though.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I celebrate National Ice Cream day pretty much everyday 😉 And I’m pretty horrible at pinning things and never actually making them. I think my problem is just getting overwhelmed with all the delicious recipes out there — I don’t even know where to start. Well, that and experimenting with my own recipes makes it hard to find time to make other stuff.

    Happy Sunday, love!

Overwhelmed is the right word. I get overwhelmed with the recipes and ingredients and just decide to go at it on my own. Some people need to follow specific instructions and I think I am just the opposite.

I always say I wish I had Pinterest or even the internet as it is now back when I was getting married. 2001 is considered ancient times these days when it comes to technology.

Agreed. I often pin recipes I wouldn’t normally make but look appetizing just because I know my followers would be interested. As a vegetarian, the meat/poultry recipes don’t appeal to me but that doesn’t mean others can’t benefit.
