Happy Friday! It is a bit dreary out this morning but I am full of sunshine and ready for the day.
Perhaps this cinnamon churro ice cream sundae from last night has added to my Friday morning cheeriness.
I used to love churros as a kid. I especially loved getting them in the amusement parks.
Do you like rollercoasters? I always did. There isn’t a ride I wouldn’t go on as a kid, and even now, I am totally game for a fun and fast ride.
See this awful photo? Notice the background?
Yes, you are correct. That would be a rollercoaster. And that would be my good friend and I, standing in line. Last week.
Very randomly, extremely out of nowhere, we mutually decided we needed a little ride on a coaster so we popped on in to a local amusement park and bought just enough tickets to ride the big roller coaster.
We even sat in the last row.
We laughed so hard from the random experience that I am not sure if I was sore from whip-lash or from laughing.
These little moments are what our lives are made of.
We all need a good laugh from time to time that produces tears and makes you feel like you can’t breathe.
I encourage you do something random, fun and totally out of the ordinary for yourself this weekend.
And while you are laughing, take note of the abdominal workout you are giving yourself.
Who needs the plank position when you can laugh?

When was the last time you went on a rollercoaster?
What is your favorite amusement park food? I always loved a good funnel cake.
I LOVE rollercoasters. I think the last time I was on one was a good two years ago at Six Flags. I need to change that 😉
I haven’t been to six flags in years. We should meet there one time! lol
That ice cream sundae sounds fantastic! And I REALLY like roller coasters, but I can tell that I am aging because my body certainly does not like them as much anymore.
My body feels the same way! I swear I never felt so jolted and dizzy as I do now when I go on rides!
Love roller coasters! I use to go to Cedar Point multiple times every summer…I think we always had seasons passes growing up. I don’t think I’ve been on a roller coaster in the last 10 years though. I wonder if it would still be as thrilling now that I skydive regularly 😉 haha
