My Pearle Vision Experience & $100 Visa Gift Card Giveaway

Recently I shared with you my experience at the newly renovated Pearl Vision EyeCare Center in Roslyn, New York.

You can read all about my exam HERE. After my eye exam, I went over to the eye wear selection in an attempt to pick out a new pair of sunglasses.

I can’t get over how tolerant the Pearle Vision staff was of my sunglasses-selecting behavior because I know I was being a tad bit picky and difficult.

Finding the right pair sunglasses isn’t easy! It’s a big decision to make, especially when you are getting prescription shades, and I wanted to love the pair that would be on my face every single day.

Pearle Vision

The Pearle Vision staff helped me narrow down my choices from their extensive eye wear selection and explained to me which frames would work better with my prescription since the lens for my left eye is rather thick.

They also sat down to explain to me why I would want polarized lenses, which was not something I knew about before going to Pearle Vision.

Pearle Vision

The polarized lenses were a little bit more money than your basic lenses but would make seeing while I was driving easier and much more relaxed for my eyes so I went with it.

Pearle Vision

I was able to pick my new sunglasses up the day after my eye exam. Can you believe it?! Usually when I pick out new frames, it takes several days before the store would have them ready with my prescription.

I was in shock when I received a phone call from Pearle Vision saying that they had my sunglasses ready for me the day after I selected them!

The process of picking them up was super quick too. Even though the EyeCare Center was busy, I didn’t wait more than a minute before someone was bringing me my sunglasses and adjusting them so that they fit me perfectly.

Pearle Vision

Since it was a new prescription, they told me it may take a few days for my eyes to adjust. My eyes felt a little bit weird at first, nothing terrible, and within two days, I felt completely normal.

I also noticed the polarized lenses immediately. Everything outside just appears so much crisper and when I drive, there is little to no sun glare. I didn’t even realize how much sun glare there was until now. The road is much clearer and easier to see in a really relaxed way for my eyes which is a big deal when you are driving.

Pearle Vision

I really love the frames I selected too. I know I made the Pearle Vision employees crazy (they didn’t say so but I just know I took a long time making my decision) but in the end, I know I made the right decision.

If you recall from my previous Pearle Vision post, the sunglasses have a slightly different prescription from my regular glasses. I have yet to notice a difference in the prescriptions which is great because all day long I am switching between my glasses when I go from inside to outside and back to inside.

Should I find that I need to change the lenses in my regular glasses, you can bet I will be returning to this Pearle Vision EyeCare Center.

You can find out more about Pearle Vision and eye care on Facebook and YouTube. And if you visit your local Pearle Vision EyeCare Center, don’t forget to leave a review on Yelp!

Okay, so I am SUPPOSED to wear glasses yet I dont because I just dont like the way they look on my face! I actually had my last eye appointment last week and got a new set of glasses, which my doctor recommend I wear while driving. Although I already passed my driving vision test without them… 😉 Better be safe than sorry I suppose. If I got the gift card I would actually spend it on my mom so she can get new sunglasses. She had this awesome pair for seven years but they recently got lost and I really dont want her to suffer from sun migraines when she’s driving, so this would definitely help! Thank you for hosting!
