Something To Be Proud Of…

Did you happen to catch the picture of my pantry on Instagram yesterday?

Many thanks to my wonderful friends for commenting to inform me that I should be proud to have 23 jars of Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter stashed in my pantry.

Make fun if you wish but in the event of a peanut famine or any other possible emergency situation, I will be living just fine with a jar and a spoon.

You know what else I am proud to report?

The restaurant where I had dinner last night kindly brought me one onion ring upon my sweet request. I just wanted one, so why not ask for one?

You would think that the giant onion ring was the happiest moment of my life. I thought so too until I had dessert:

Look who got the last chocolate dipped waffle bowl at Cold Stone Creamery. I deserved it, don’t you think?

I thought I did too, especially after a nice 11 mile run yesterday morning. Speaking of running, I am still waiting to register for tomorrow’s race due to the rather iffy weather forecasted for the remainder of the weekend.

I am leaning towards running it anyway and hoping that any downpours can hold off long enough for me to run 5 miles.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

First of all, I want to come live with you if your pantry looks like that! And second, what an awesome idea to just ask for one onion ring…AND how awesome that they agreed. Sometimes all you need is one! 🙂
